From Kalinaw News (Aug 30, 2020): 7ID welcomes 180 new soldiers; reminded to be responsible defenders of the Filipino people
Fort Ramon Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija – The 7th Infantry Division Philippine Army welcomes the 180 new soldiers during the closing ceremony of Candidate Soldier Course Class 632, cross trained with Jungle Warfare and Mountain Orientation Course at the 7ID Grandstand, Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija on August 28, 2020.
7th Infantry Division Commander Major General Alfredo V. Rosario, Jr. PA congratulated the new soldiers as he emphasized the importance of discipline and integrity. He further reminded them to be responsible defenders of the Filipino people.
With soldiers being authorized by law to carry firearm, the Kaugnay Commander said, “Ang mga baril na ipinagkatiwala sa inyo ay kakambal ng inyong buhay… na dapat lamang gamitin sa pagtatanggol ng buhay at kapayaan.”
CSC Class 632 named themselves SIKLAB, which stands for “Sandatahang Iaalay ang Kanyang Lakas At Buhay”.
The new soldiers will be deployed to the different line units of the 7ID.
