In his message to the students, Mr Bancod shared that he once dreamt of becoming a military officer and that he has always looked up to the Philippine Security Forces. He added that leadership is always a challenge among officers, and on this note, talked about his take on leadership, motivation, and interpersonal relations. He stressed that it is important to understand the audience we are addressing in order for us to be able to influence them. And he related this to the planning and execution of Civil-Military Operations.
Students of this new batch of the Strategic CMO Officers Online Course Class 17-19 are composed of personnel from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), and Civilian Employees from the Department of National Defense and from the United Nations.
The said course, conducted regularly by the AFP CMO School, CRSAFP, is designed to equip the current and prospective CMO planners together with other government agencies with adequate knowledge and skills that are very essential in promoting the organizations’ objectives in the highest strategic level.
