More than a hundred Madrasah students received aid from non-profit organizations and military troops in Maguindanao on September 15.
Soldiers of the 90th Infantry Battalion partnered with Social Climbers, Inc., Taga Cotabato Ka Kung, Inc., and LGU Talitay in delivering social and basic services to students of Madrasah Khalid Bin Walid in Barangay Gadungan, Talitay
.
The outreach program benefited 142 students who received free haircut service, school supplies, umbrella, slippers, dental kit, and food from said benefactors.
Talitay Mayor Abdulwahab Allan, Talitay PNP COP, SCI President Ann Lou Roales, TCKK Co-founder Rico Suave, and SCI founder Datuhabib Ala Salazar officiated said outreach program.
The event was also sponsored by Deejee Halfon, CakeAvenue by Edz Asuncion Santillan, STI College Cotabato, Jefferson Dueñas Bacurnay, Gig Sizzling Hauz, and Talitay LGU.
“Community programs will continuously be supported by your soldiers to contribute to the national development goals and to alleviate poverty in the area of operations,” said Lt. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana, commander of Western Mindanao Command.
