CEBU CITY, Cebu (DWDD) – A five-day Security Enhancement Training was conducted on September 25-29, 2017 at Naval Forces Central which was initiated by COMMO LOUMER P BERNABE AFP, who was also the Keynote Speaker,Guest of Honor during the Opening and Closing Ceremony.

The Security Enhancement Training was conducted through a series of lectures and practical exercises, including caliber 45/9mm Proficiency Training and Small Scale Combat Maneuvers with the personnel from Naval Special Operations Unit (NAVSOU-5).

Said training aimed to enhance the capacity of our security personnel from the resorts/hotels and tourism sites within Naval Forces Central Area of Responsibility in responding to threats, particularly terrorism.

This is also in line with the Central Command’s campaign plan “Abante Visayas” and Security of Island and Coastal Tourism Resort/Sites from Acts of Terrorism and Criminality. NAVFORCEN/MCAG
