FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City – The Philippine Army installed new chiefs of the offices of logistics, plans and programs, and the secretary of the Army general staff on Dec. 9 in a joint ceremony held in Luna Hall, Philippine Army Officers Club House here.
Col. Glenn E. Cruz now heads the Army’s Assistant Chief of Staff for Logistics, G4 replacing Col. Pio Q. Diñoso III who now heads the 301st Infantry Brigade based in the Western Visayas.
Cruz is the former deputy and executive officer of the Army logistics office prior to his new position.
Col. Roberto S. Capulong replaced Col. Cornelio H. Valencia as the new Army Assistant Chief of Staff for Plans and Programs, G5.
Valencia moved up to the AFP’s General Headquarters as the new Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for Plans and Programs or the AJ5.
Capulong, on the other hand, is the former Secretary of the Army General Staff and he was replaced by Lt. Col. Arvin R. Lagamon, a newly graduate of the Masters in National Security Administration at the National Defense College of the Philippines.
