From the Manila Standard Today (Aug 27): AFP chief to speak at MOPC
Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff Gen. Emmanuel T. Bautista will be the keynote speaker at the “AFP Night” organized by the Manila Overseas Press Club on August 27 at the Grand Ballroom of the InterContinental Hotel in Makati City.
MOPC chairman Babe Romualdez said Bautista is expected to talk on current security issues including the ongoing negotiations for the increased rotational presence of American troops in the country.
Following the keynote speech is a no holds barred open forum with the AFP chief answering questions from a select panel of journalists and guests coming from the business sector, government, media and the diplomatic circle. For more information, contact the MOPC Secretariat at 994-6738.
