The Department of National Defense (DND) has allocated PhP
89,446,100 for the acquisition of 3,976 tires for its KM-450 truck fleet.
The amount will come from the Fiscal Year 2014 General
Appropriations and Philippine Army Appropriations for Calendar Year 2014.
The KM-450 is a one-and-half-ton truck developed for the
transportation of soldiers and cargoes. The Philippine Army has over 600 units
of this type of vehicle.
Winning bidders are required to deliver the tires within 120
calendar days.
Bid opening is on Nov. 3 at 10 a.m. at the DND Bidding and
Awards Committee Conference Room, DND Building , Camp
Aguinaldo , Quezon City
