From the Philippine News Agency (Oct 11): Bomb explosion injures teenager in Zambo Sibugay

A 14-year-old boy was injured in an improvised bomb explosion in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, a military official disclosed Thursday. Western Mindanao Command (Wesmincom) spokesman Lt. Col. Randolph Cabangbang said the incident took place around 7:40 p.m. Wednesday in Barangay Poblacion, Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay. Cabangbang identified the victim as Alraffy Bano, 14, who suffered minor injury. The improvised bomb that exploded was placed in front of M&M Alrafhi Garment Shop owned by Merpha Bano, the mother of the victim, Cabangbang said. Investigation continues to determine the motive of the incident as well as unmask the suspects, he said.
