Camp Aquino, Tarlac City – February 2, 2022
Regional Director of National Intelligence Coordinating Agency-Regional Office 3 Ms. Ma. Luisa De Guzman paid a courtesy visit to Northern Luzon Command Commander Lt. Gen Ernesto Torres Jr. to solidify partnership and cooperation in pursuing campaigns for peace and development.
Ms. De Guzman together with personnel from NICA-Region III was welcomed by Lt. Gen. Torres and the command staff at NoLCom headquarters in Camp Aquino San Miguel, Tarlac City at around 9:00 a.m. on February 2, 2022.
During her visit, Ms. De Guzman expressed her gratitude to Lt. Gen. Torres for the warm welcome and extended her support to the command’s campaign against terrorism and as a part of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict’s (NTF-ELCAC) Situational Awareness and Knowledge Management (SAKM) cluster to further expedite the process in fully ending local communist armed conflict in the region.
Likewise, Lt. Gen. Torres. thanked the guests for visiting the command and for their commitment and active participation to NoLCom’s thrust for lasting peace and development in its area of operations.
“Let us continue to strengthen our coordinating efforts in ending Communist terrorism, and solidify our endeavor to work in a holistic and integrated manner to deliver much-needed services to underdeveloped, conflict-affected communities, and to achieve inclusive development and lasting peace for the communities in our area of responsibility,” Lt. Gen Torres added.
