BALER, Aurora--Reservist of the 307th Community Defense Center (307CDC), 3rd Regional Community Defense Group (3RCDG), Army Reserve Command (ARESCOM) of the Aurora Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (ARRIBN) have vowed to continue helping indigents in this province through their mobile food bank feeding program in Collaboration with the 91st Infantry “Sinagtala” Battalion, Philippine Army and Aurora bank.

Lt. Col. Reandrew P. Rubio, commander of 91st IB said that personnel of Charlie Company led by 1st Lieutenant Hamilton D. Dawaton, Charlie Company Commander of the said unit together with 1st Lieutenant Stewart A. Cerbo, Company Executive Officer and 2nd Lieutenant Rodel T. Calvadores, Battalion Assistant civil military operations (CMO) Officer conducted in the said activity and jointly initiated by 91st IB and the 307th RRIBn, 307CDC, 3RCDG, ARESCOM headed by the Battalion Commander of Aurora RRIBn-Major Edward Pineda.

On Saturday, September 4, 2021, three hundred fifteen (315) individuals were benefited by the program through basic social services rendered, such as free haircut (35), Blood Pressure Consultation (60), feeding program (120), feeding program (60), and free vitamins for adults (40).


Rubio said that the activity is a continuation of the strengthened commitment and support to the beloved constituents in the area amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The activity is also a part of the ongoing retooled community support program (RCSP) at the said Barangay by bringing basic services in partnership with 91st IB, LGU San Luis, 307RRIBn, 307CDC, 3RCDG, and Aurora Bank. We are very grateful of the support extended by our partners and the services they offered which are indeed beneficial to the local residents in the area,” Rubio said.

Major Pineda said that the same activity will continue to aid people amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

“This kind of activity showed the natural “bayanihan” spirit of the Filipino people which the food bank feeding program captured, thus, making it more easy to lend a hand to those who are in need. We will have another batch soon,” Pineda said.

Also present during the activity were Roselito Dadero, Executive Secretary of LGU San Luis; 2nd Lieutenant Gilbert R. Gonzaga, Deputy Director of 307CDC, 3RCDG, ARESCOM; Barangay Diteki Chairman Gonzalo B. Carlos Jr; Aurora Bank Administrative Assistant Anita Villanda; Chieftain Perlita Marquez; IP Youth President Jerson Andon, and; Pastor Junilo Mangulintas.
