CAMP MELCHOR F DELA CRUZ, Upi, Gamu, Isabela- Narekober ng kasundaluhan ng 95th Infantry Battalion, 5th Infantry Division, Philippine Army ang dalawang dekalibreng mga baril (M16 at M14) kasama ang ilang mga gamit pampasabog (explosive components, granada, at capacitor), isang cellphone na mayroong electrical cord, ICOM battery pack at battery charger sa tulong nina Ka Ganer (regular na miyembro ng NPA na sumuko noong 2019) at Ka Abner (miyembro ng Militia ng Bayan ng sumuko ngayong araw) sa Barangay Buyasan, San Mariano, Isabela ngayong ika-30 nang Disyembre taong kasalukuyan.

Sa pahayag ni MGen Laurence E Mina PA, Commander ng 5ID, sinabi niya na, “The actions of the former rebels are testament that they are already fed up with the deceptions and false promises of the terrorist group. Further, it proved their commitment and sincerity to return to the folds of the law and abandon their armed struggle.”

Samantala, kinilala naman ni Lt Gen Arnulfo Burgo Jr ang pakikiisa at pakikipagtulungan ng mga dating miyembro ng rebeldeng grupo sa naging matagumpay na operasyon.
