TALACOGON, Agusan del Sur – Sixteen (16) Enlisted Personnel of 26th Infantry (Ever Onward) Battalion were recognized in a simple ceremony of donning of ranks for the newly promoted enlisted personnel held at the Battalion Headquarters, Monday morning, October 12, 2020.
The 16 newly promoted Ever Onward troopers are composed of two (2) Master Sergeants, three (3) Technical Sergeants, two (2) Staff Sergeants, seven (7) Sergeants, and two (2) Corporals.
“It is indeed that promotion into our next higher rank is one of the momentous events in our military career. I am grateful seeing all of you who were constantly moving forward into a more developed and professional army that are highly trained, effective and efficient to carry on our unit’s mission,” Major Ariel S. Fabria said, the Battalion Executive Officer.
“The additional layer on your rank insignia is not just a mere decoration nor a display but somehow it is associated with a bigger responsibility coming on your way that will capacitate your ability and power as Senior Non-Commission Officers (NCOs) and role models to your subordinates,” he added.
Likewise, Lt. Col. Reynald Romel A. Goce, commanding officer of 26IB congratulates the newly promoted enlisted personnel of the unit for their courage and determination to carry on bigger and broader responsibility as they assumed into their next higher rank. “As you go up the ladder of your military service and face more responsibilities, I am confident of your ability to adapt accordingly as we focus on our mission, and neutralize all kinds of threats to our area of responsibility, including our collaborative efforts with the LGUs against the COVID-19”, he said.
“Let us also appreciate our families who always love, supports, and understand the nature of our work as we are always far to them due to the call of duty in serving our nation. May this promotion become your motivation to strive harder in accomplishing the tasked given to each of you”, Lt. Col. Goce added.
