TARLAC CITY, May 27 (PIA) -- Armed Forces 1st Civil Relations Group, Army 3rd Mechanized Infantry Battalion and Air Force Tactical Operations Group 3 conducted an aerial leaflet dropping activity in selected remote Indigenous Peoples (IP) communities in Tarlac.
The activity aims to prevent communist terrorist groups from advancing their own agenda and taking advantage of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
“Information is imperative to end a crisis. The people in hard-to-reach communities need to be informed on the pandemic and for them not to be deceived by the communist terrorist group, who despite the crisis, advances their evil and terroristic desires,” 3rd Mech Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Norberto Aromin Jr. said.
