CAMP GEN SERVILLANO AQUINO, San Miguel, Tarlac (DWDD) – An active member of New People’s Army (NPA) under Kilusang Larangan Gerilya (KLG) MONTES under Ilocos Cordillera Regional Committee(ICRC) voluntarily surrendered to 24th Infantry Battalion of 7thInfantry KAUGNAY Division in Sitio Barbarit, BrgyTagodtod, Lagangilang, Abra on October 26, 2017.
Accordingly, the surrenderee was identified as Eugene Agdap Y Lumadao also known as KaItan / Rense / Berting, 33years old, single and a resident of Abra. The said former rebel was the Squad Leader of KLG MONTES with the Codename of Chadi Molintas Command of ICRC.
This accomplishment was a result of the government’s appeal to the misguided members of the local terrorist group (NPA) to come down and return to the folds of the law and live a normal and productive life with their families, rather than living a life of violence. These positive developments on the ground manifest the sincerity and commitment of NOLCOM forces together with the strong support of the local communities to attain peace and development soonest.
