Philippine Coast Guard personnel who are also considered as Marawi City heroes along with Armed Forces of the Philippines and Philippine National Police personnel were welcomed today, November 3.
The heroes welcome ceremony was conducted at the Coast Guard Surface Support Force, Pier 13, South Harbor in Manila.
An awarding ceremony was also conducted.

The coast guard personnel were from Task Group 2 of Task Force Northern Mindanao and crew of San Juan-class patrol vessel BRP Pampanga (SARV-003).

According to coast guard the event was “in recognition of the PCG personnel’s bravery, patriotism and selfless dedication to the call of duty during the Marawi crisis and its successful resolution.”
