Troopers from the Eastern Mindanao Command (EMC) seized
three sacks of rebel subversive documents and two sacks of medicines during
operations in Kitaotao, Bukidnon last Aug. 31.
The capture was made by patrolling elements of the 8th
Infantry Battalion, EMC public affairs office chief Capt. Alberto Caber said on
Wednesday.
He added the operations took place at 9: 30 a.m. in Barangay
White Kulaman, Kitaotao town.
No NPA fighters were encountered during this mission.
Caber said the captured subversive documents are collection
of reading materials on communism and approaches in overthrowing the government
while the medicines are supplies of the rebels.
